  One year ago this week I was a completely broken man. My wife and I had separated, I had quit my job, and I was in a desperate daily struggle with alcohol and drugs. For the first time in my 42 years on this earth I actually considered ending my own life. When I arrived at S2L I could barely get through a sentence without sobbing. I was truly a broken man. At S2L I received nothing but love and support from other men that had been in the same, sometimes worse, position than me. The program shows you the path, but its your walk. My faith was not only renewed but began to truly blossom and picture of how I wanted to walk in my faith and become a Christian husband and man began to emerge. Through Christ the strength to live a sober, more virtuous life takes shape. If you are really ready to make the change, and become the man that God intends you to be, S2L can provide the support needed to make that difficult step.

  I went to S2L not knowing what to expect. Admitting into detox I quickly saw that it was the real deal “Christ Centered.” The men there were genuine and had lived the same type of struggles I had. I went into the program knowing of Jesus and truly developed a Relationship with Jesus because of the way God worked through the men at S2L. I developed a true foundation and structure built on Christ going through the program. I had completed different secular programs with no lasting recovery. Finding faith which lead to obedience to God which I developed going through Phase 1 and 2 of the program. I believe God places his hand on people and places all over the world, S2L is one of them.
