Pastor Adam Comer
Chief Executive Officer
Director / Executive Producer of The Forgotten Pandemic Documentary
Adam has served in the residential addiction recovery field for over a decade. Through this experience and great partnerships, Adam has played a major role in developing and establishing one of the highest addiction recovery program success rates in the country. Adam knows that addiction is not a surprise to God and His Word has something to say about finding freedom from its bondage.
Adam’s studies at Liberty University include religion, ministry leadership, people management, and Christian counseling. In recovery, he has truly been set free from the grips of addiction: His passions, pursuits and purpose revolve around the belief that all who are weary from life-controlling issues and addiction can be led to find absolute freedom in Christ.
Adam is a proud husband to his high school sweetheart, Katie. They have been married since 2008 and have 2 children Elijah and Ellasyn. God called Adam and Katie to Middle Tennessee, and they love investing into this community, both personally and professionally.
Pastor Ron Anderson
Executive Vice President
As an ordained pastor, Ron has served in various ministry roles in local churches in Middle Tennessee for 30 years. Some were full time and some part-time ministry roles.
Ron’s studies have been through Liberty University, Middle Tennessee State University and Berean School of the Bible. Ron has spent considerable time in the development of men into Godly men, having served as Men’s Director of Discipleship with a denomination’s District State of Tennessee for several years.
Ron’s most proud moments were marrying his High-school sweetheart, 38 years and counting and bringing two sons into adulthood, Patrick and Matthew. Having walked through addiction with his son who was a service recipient at S2L, he found out first hand how to overcome addiction as a family. Ron has answered the Call in helping any and all that are addicted to life controlling drugs or alcohol to be set Free.
Justin Carter
Chief Operations Officer
Justin has been part of the S2L Recovery team since November 2015, where he currently serves as Chief Operating Officer. Having found freedom from addiction through Christ, Justin developed a passion for serving others who struggle. His journey has provided him with the testimony, patience, and understanding to assist those with similar issues.
Justin has been a group leader, is a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist with the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, and currently oversees operations at both S2L campuses. His areas of study at Williamson College include business administration, organizational leadership, Christian counseling, and theology.
Dr. Andrew Daigle
Medical Director
Dr. Andrew Daigle is a board-certified physician in both Family Medicine and Palliative Care, and board eligible in Addiction Medicine. He has practiced medicine for thirty years, primarily in trauma and emergency medicine as well as palliative care. In all of his professional roles, he has embraced the team approach in addressing the physical, mental, social and spiritual needs of his patients. He has regularly helped those with substance addiction and its consequences. In his many years working at a high volume emergency trauma center, he witnessed the repercussions of substance abuse. Subsequently, his palliative medicine practice helped to confirm his long-held philosophy of addressing suffering in a holistic way. Dr. Daigle embraces the team approach, with all team members collaborating and addressing all the needs of the patient.
Dr. Daigle trained at LSU Medical Center in New Orleans, and subsequently at Greenville Hospital System in South Carolina, and the University of Alabama in Birmingham. In addition to his growing role as Medical Director for S2L Recovery, he continues to practice part-time emergency medicine and part-time palliative care. When he and his wife aren’t spending time with their children and grandchildren, Dr. Daigle can often be found playing tennis, softball, or golf
Briana Kidd LPC-MHSP
Clinical Director, Licensed Professional Counselor
Briana Kidd is a Licensed Professional Counselor in both the state of Tennessee and
Wisconsin. Briana specializes in treating members with dual diagnoses of mental health
and addictions. She is trained in conducting intoxicated drivers’ assessments and
community treatment triage. She has worked extensively with probation and parole for
outpatient and jail mental health services. She began her career in treating adults with
severe and persistent mental illness and has worked extensively with communities to
facilitate autonomous stability and support for individuals.
She has practiced for nearly a decade with various populations and condition-specific
focuses including Federally recognized tribal communities, at-risk youth, rural
communities, recovery communities, developmentally disabled communities, severe and
persistent mental illness, crisis intervention, probation and parole, gender-specific, trauma
based, family, group, individual, and Faith-based therapy. Additionally, she is a musician
and songwriter, which she incorporates in her treatment with members as needed.
She uses the following treatment modalities, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution
Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Creative
Arts Therapy. Briana got her undergraduate degree from The University of Wisconsin
Eau Claire and her Masters from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. She has
received additional training in Addictions Counseling, Personality Disorders, Crisis
Intervention, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Culture-Specific Treatment.
Pastor Carl Ubiñas
Chief Growth Officer
Carl is a pastor with over three decades of experience in sales & marketing. He has dedicated his knowledge and experience to serve the church, Christian non-profit and for-profit organizations, from local congregations to global media giants like Fox, Hallmark Channel, Viacom, Univision and Salem Media Group.
His journey has been marked by a drive to expand the reach of missions and ministries, including notable contributions to Life Center Troutman, Love Life USA, Frontline Family, The King’s Table and the Christian band, One Common Music (led by his two sons).
Carl’s heart beats strongest to bring hope, restoration and healing for families in crisis. This mission is driven by a desire to see lives transformed by the redemptive power of Christ. His vision is to see men fully recovered and empowered to reclaim their God-given roles within their families as the husbands, fathers, sons & brothers that were made to be.
Carl is happily married to Grisel. They both felt called to move to and serve the Middle Tennessee community with their five children, ages 13-25.
